Nicola is a very experienced general dental practitioner. She qualified from Queen’s University, Belfast in1993. After three years of working in hospital posts, both in the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, and in Queensland and Darwin, Australia, she relocated to Hampshire where she worked in mainly private practice for over 20 years. Nicola returned to her County Down roots in 2016.

“I am passionate about lifelong learning in Dentistry, and I continue to attend several postgraduate courses each year.

I have a special interest in minimally invasive techniques to provide cosmetic solutions, including adult orthodontics and composite bonding.

I have been carrying out Facial Aesthetic treatments for a number of years including antiwrinkle injections and dermal fillers and I am pleased to offer these at Comber Dental Practice.

Outside of Dentistry I enjoy playing tennis, having formerly represented Ulster and Ireland at junior and senior level, and walking in the Mournes."
  • What’s your favourite thing about Comber?

    The friendly village feel of the town, the independent artisan food and craft shops.

  • What's the best advice you've been given?

    Release the idea that things could have been any other way.  There is only the way things are... the rest is made up in your mind !

  • What's on your bucket list?

    To do the Tour de Mont Blanc and to see the Northern Lights.

  • Which temptations can't you resist?

    Friday night wine and Netflix.

  • Where’s your favourite place in and around Comber?

    The fine coastal and lough views on the cycle route from Nendrum to Whiterock.
