Do you need an emergency dental appointment?
The need for an emergency dental appointment can arise suddenly and with no warning. Don’t panic. Our dentists can deal with any dental emergency.
We aim to offer a same day service for our registered patients for all dental emergencies from toothache to lost or broken crowns, chipped teeth and fillings to abscesses, trauma, avulsed (knocked out) teeth and a swollen face.
It’s vital to phone before 10am for the best chance of securing an appointment that day as emergencies are seen on a first come first served basis.
Don’t worry if you’ve never visited us before. We are very happy to see new patients and will do our best to offer you an emergency appointment. However, our emergency appointments will be offered to our registered patients first. We will always try our best to offer emergency appointments to new patients. Regrettably this may not always be possible.

The following information may be required:
- Nature of the emergency - “ I have had severe pain from my tooth all last night”
- Nature of pain - e.g. dull, aching, throbbing, burning, stabbing
- Duration - e.g. continuous, on-off, with biting only
- Site and area affected- e.g. lower left tooth, all left jaw, spreading to the ear and neck
- If taking any medication- e.g. Nurofen, antibiotic from doctors
- Any other information- e.g. I had a deep filling placed a week ago
- Your immediate contact details-e.g. mobile number, direct line at work
