Shelley McFarlane BDS (QUB)

I love to see my patient’s confidence grow with each visit. I like to see their trust in me develop and I like the long term aspect of patient care. Many of my new patients haven’t attended a dentist for a long time. There is usually a reason for this and I enjoy seeing their surprise at how enjoyable a visit to the dentist can be. For this reason, most of my new patients have come to me via word of mouth. Several of my existing patients have followed me throughout the 17 years of my career.

I love the countryside and I’m lucky to live on a farm in the County Down hills. I enjoy helping out with the dairy herd. I have a busy family life, with a house full of boys. I like to look after myself too. So you’ll find me in the milking parlour or the beauty parlour. I’m a Holywood hillbilly!
